The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, June 2, 2020 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Bill Ford.
Commissioner Ford led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
 
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of May 26, 2020. 

 
           B.  Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through May 22, 2020 in the amount of $300,814.82 and the Bills to be paid in the amount of <$258.50>

A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  Tomorrow at 1:00 will be the walk through of the Courthouse for prospective bidders.  Bids will be opened June 17th.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: Punch list completed, so awaiting inspection by the Jail Commission.

1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted May 29, 2020 at  11:37 AM.  
2.  Courtney Redman announced the winner of the 30 day challenge to walk 6,000 steps a day was Kevin Burke with the IT Department who walked over a million steps during the past 30 days.  Of the 35 who signed up, 26 completed the challenge to go in the drawing for a $50.00 gift card.  The winner of the gift card was John Brumley.
