1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Ralph Hoelscher.
Commissioner Hoelscher led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.

A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  Meeting April 3 to kick off the preliminary schematics.  Review needed upgrades on infrastructure systems with the facilities department in the afternoon.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: Electrical continues; installing lockers and showers; Reece Albert continuing on site work.  Change Order will be reviewed next week.

C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project
Update:  Progressing.  Steel is continuing to be erected.

 18.  Announcements: 
 
1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted March 29, 2019 at  4:02 PM.
  2.  Greg Rowe, MHMR Director, announced that the MHMR Basketball Team won the State Tournament last month in Big Springs.  This is their 6th Championship in the past 10 years.
3. Sheriff David Jones and Chief Frank Carter were commended on the very successful "Back the Badge" Clay Shoot Fundraiser they had.
4.  Vona Hudson, Election's Administrator, announced that from 1:30 - 3:00 PM today, they will be demonstrating and allowing the public to get familiar with the new voting machines.  Tomorrow from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, they will be training the Election Workers on how to use the new equipment.
5.  Jill Donegan, Library Director, announced that the new "Helen's Bistro & Bakery" is now open in the Stephen's Central Library.
