The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, February 12, 2019 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:19 AM.

2. Recess the Open Session 8:19 AM.

3. Convene Closed/Executive Session at 8:19 AM


 
The Commissioners' Court will meet in Closed/Executive Session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government Code, Chapter 551 , Subchapter D. as follows:

§551. 071 (I) seeking attorney's advice with respect to: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or (B) a settlement
offer; or matters where the duty of a public body's counsel to his client, pursuant to the Code of Professional
Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas, clearly conflicts with this act; (A) and/or (B) including, but not limited
to, the following cases:

§551. 072 to deliberate with respect to purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an
open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a
third party.

§551.073 to deliberate a negotiated contract for a prospective gift or donation to the state or the governmental
body if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body
in negotiations with a third person.

§551.074(1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal
of a public officer or employee; or (2) to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, unless
employee requests a public hearing.

§551.076 to deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices.

§551.087 deliberation regarding economic development negotiations.

4. Adjournment of Closed/Executive Session at 8:30 AM.
