1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by County Clerk Elizabeth McGill.
Ms. McGill  led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of July 16, 2019.

Update:  Judge Ben Woodward explained that the column obstructs the view of the Jury from the bench and witness box.  Different phases were discussed.

Move to approve setting the Elected Official's salaries and other compensations for FY2020 at a maximum not to exceed 5% increase, with the exception of the County Sheriff which will be increased to $92,000.00, longevity for all who qualify, notice will be published prior to the presentation of the proposed FY 2020 Budget.

1.  Judge Stephen Floyd displayed the new Reinvestment Zone map presented by Winston Wilkinson, the new 9-1-1 Coordinator for CVCOG.
 
2.  Tom Green County Job Fair for the New Detention Facility will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 -1:00 and Thursday 4:00-7:00, (July 17 & 18, 2019), at the Commissioners Courtroom for the purpose of adding additional staffing for the new Detention Center. 

3.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted July12, 2019, at 1:31 P.M.
  
 
  
 16.  Judge Floyd adjourned the meeting at 9:31 A.M.
