1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Sammy Farmer.
Commissioner Farmer led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.

6.  Consider recommendation regarding disposal of the Bois d’ arc tree. (Allison Watkins, Texas A&M Extension Services, Charles Rood and Bobby Farquhar)

Allison Watkins gave a video presentation regarding the Bois d'arc tree that fell with a recent wind storm.  Charles Rood with "Wood Turners" group and Bobby Farquhar with "Wood Carvers" group explained various processes and various options for utilizing and preserving the wood.  Hourly pricing for some options were discussed.

Moved to authorize Allison Watkins and her team to obtain quotes for the best options to preserve or prepare the wood for utilization.

Judge Floyd announced the US Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Field Operations is currently located at the Small Business Administration Building on North Chadbourne.  They are there to assist those who were affected by the recent tornado.   Flyer with more information is attached.
