The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, June 9, 2020 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:
             
1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Ralph Hoelscher.
Commissioner Hoelscher led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of June 2, 2020. 

 
           B.  Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through May 29, 2020 in the amount of $1,073,893.26 and the Bills to be paid in the amount of $1,746,212.16.

J. Accepted the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 Monthly Report for May, collections in the amount of $89,145.82, as a matter of record. (Judge JP McGuire)

9. Consider amending the Tom Green County Parks Rules and Regulations as follows: Section 7 Camping: add to the end of the sentence: unless approved by a member of the Com missioners Court. Section 23 Special Conditions and Restrictions, subparagraph (b): Add: The Park's Precinct Commissioner may waive the security deposit or fee at their discretion. General Conditions and Restrictions, subparagraph (3): unless approved by a member of the Commissioners Court.

Moved to approve amending the Tom Green County Parks Rules and Regulations as follows:
Section 7 Camping: add to the end of the sentence: unless approved by a member of the Com missioners Court.

11. Consider issues dealing with the following ongoing construction/remodeling projects and  take any action necessary:   No Action on the following Construction Projects.
A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  About 25 contractors did the walk through of the Courthouse last week and will submit their bids by the opening date.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: One outstanding item, tinting of the windows, as needed, was listed on this week's conference call.   There will be another conference call on Thursday to discuss calling for the final jail inspection by the Jail Standard Commission.
             
 12. Future Agenda Items:
Consider proposed plat of Stonewall Acres in Precinct 2 and the proposed plat of Montgomery Subdivision in Precinct 3.
 
13.  Announcements: 
 
1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted June 5, 2020 at  2:27 PM.
  2.  County Departmental Budget Hearings will start Monday, June 15, at 9:00 AM.
3.  Sunday, June 14, is Flag Day, so fly your flags.
  
14.  Judge Floyd adjourned the meeting at 8:44 AM.
