1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Sammy Farmer.
Commissioner Farmer led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented:

16.  Consider issues dealing with the following ongoing construction/remodeling projects and  take any action necessary: 
A. County Courthouse Renovation  No Action.
Update: Judge Woodward approved the schematic designs, but has requested a larger floor plan to determine the line of sight around the columns.   Brian McGuire is reviewing the plans for input on additional needs from the maintenance viewpoint.

B. County Detention Construction  No Action
Update:  Laying the vinyl flooring in the booking area and laying flooring in the kitchen area.  Supply mock up is ready for review. Suddenlink is installing lines.  Thursday is regular meeting to discuss issues.  The weekend wind and rain storms blew water under the door coming from the exercise yard, so they are fixing that.

C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project
Update: The fire hall is finished and awaiting inspection approval.  The dining hall framing is done and installing security locks.

17.   Future Agenda Items:
1.  Special Meeting Friday @ 9 Consider Ratification and continuance of the Disaster Declaration issued May 18. 2019 by the Tom Green County Judge.
 
 18.  Announcements: 
 
1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted May 17, 2019 at 10:38 AM. 
   2.  Tom Green County Offices will be closed Monday May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day.
3.  Budget Hearings start June 17th at 9:00 AM.
4.  Two Memorial Day Services one at Fort Concho @ 9:00 AM and then one at the Courthouse @ 6:00 PM. 
Thank you to Harper Funeral Home who has provided a canopy for the Veterans to sit under, out of the heat, at the Courthouse Ceremony.
5.  Judge Floyd thanked the facilities maintenance crew for securing the area around the Bois D'Ark tree, that fell during the storm,  moving tree branches from the roadways.  He also thanked the road crew for helping maintenance crews to haul away the branches and debris. 
6.  Brian McGuire gave the Court pictures of the Bois D'Ark tree after the fall and during the clean-up.
7.  Commissioner Hoelscher reminded everyone that this is the last week for this Regular Legislative Session, so if you have priority bills, contact your Representative and Senator.
  
 19.  Judge Floyd adjourned the meeting at 9:02 AM.
