The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, May 14, 2019  in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Ralph Hoelscher.
Commissioner Hoelscher led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of May 7, 2019. 

B. Consider Treasurer Claims Register and Bills to be Paid Report.

 
Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through May 3rd, 2019 in the amount of $723,298.13 and Bills to be paid in the amount of $1,617,560.98.

6. Consider Proclaiming May as Mental Health Awareness Month. (Greg Rowe, Executive Director of MHMR Services of the Concho Valley)
Mr. Rowe introduced Amy as the director of the "Clubhouse" and recognized Gary Houston and Dianna Spieker as Board members. 
Amy introduced some members of the Clubhouse that also assist with meals, shopping, and other duties at the Clubhouse.  Members were Andrew, Orlando, Ruben, Maria and Christy.  
This is just one of the programs through MHMR.

A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  Schematic design is being reviewed.  Hope to have CMAR proposals by next week
Judge Floyd reported that the Historical Commission had approved the plan.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: No updates...same work as last week is continuing.

C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project
Update:  
             
 11.  Future Agenda Items:
1.  Consider approving the Kofile Contract for the restoration of 5 Probate Books in the County Clerk's Office.
