The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, April 9, 2019 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Sammy Farmer.
Commissioner Farmer led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of April 2, 2019. 

B. Consider Treasurer Claims Register and Bills to be Paid Report.

 
Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through March 29, 2019  in the amount of $2,914,067.34 and No Bills to be paid.

9.  Consider entering into contract for restoration of Probate Records prior to 1950, as mandated by the Texas Supreme Court, with DPS in the amount of $300,046.25 as budgeted for FY 2019 out of dedicated archive funds in funds #30 and #32 and authorize the County Clerk (Elizabeth McGill) to sign the contract as presented. 13.  Consider issues dealing with the following ongoing construction/remodeling projects and  take any action necessary:   No Action. A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  Thursday will be the kick-off meeting to give direction to HDR.  In the afternoon, there will be a walk-through with the Engineer to prioritize the upgrade of all the systems infrastructure.  Electrical upgrades needed.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: Reece-Albert is continuing the site grade work, sidewalks and roads.  Wall insulation is in progress, electrical, secure electronics and duct work continues.

C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project
Update: Architects are here and meeting.  
             
14. Consider increasing the rental fees for use of the new voting equipment to the maximum allowed per statute. (Commissioner Hoelscher)

Commissioner Hoelscher moved to increase the rental fees for use of the new voting equipment to the maximum allowed per statute.   The motion died for lack of a second.
