The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, March 10, 2020 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:31 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Bill Ford.
Commissioner Ford led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of March 3, 2020. 
           B.  Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through February 28, 2020 in the amount of $460,891.98, Corrected Claims Register in the amount of $593,951.49 adding in the $44.20 from last week and the Bills to be paid in the amount of $463.30

6.  Consider Burn Ban.  There is no Burn Ban in effect.
             
7. Consider proclaiming March as National Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. (Greg Rowe, MHMR Services for the Concho Valley).

Greg Rowe introduced 2 players from the Basketball team and 2 of the Cheerleaders.  They will be competing in the annual Basketball Tournament in Big Spring at the end of the month.  They have won the Championship the last 5 years.  He explained that with the funding cuts, that recently Mosaic had closed and resources were challenging.

A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  Still waiting on review from Historical Commission.

B. County Detention Construction
Update: Area G inspection and the Kitchen inspection have been done. Area H will be inspected today and Thursday the Sally-port, visitation areas will be inspected.  There will be a fire inspection on the sprinkler systems.  Many inspections have been completed and working on each punch list.  Thursday will be the OAC meeting.

1.  Election Committee workshop following Court at 10:00 AM, next week.
