1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:34 AM. 

2. The Invocation was given by County Judge Stephen C. Floyd.                       
Judge Floyd led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.

There was a lengthy Discussion on the Pros and Cons of each option, with neither option raising the salaries to the desired medium range of the salaries, but the one with the greater impact for the most employees.

Moved to approve the recommendation and implementation of salary study for FY2020, by adopting Option 1, to be effective January 11, 2020 and be reflected in the January 31, 2020 paycheck.

A. County Courthouse Renovation
Update:  HDR is working on the design document for the basement.  Should receive 100% of Construction Documents later in January.  Reassessing the beams and other structures involved with the column removal in the Courtroom.

B. County Detention Construction
Update:  Last week was slow due to Christmas break.  Smoke purge problems are being worked on.

C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project
Update: Ribbon cutting for the new structures will be Monday at 11:00 AM.
