The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, December 3, 2019 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Bill Ford.
Commissioner Bill Ford led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Approval of the minutes from the last meeting(s) of November 26, 2019. 

B.  Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register (None Submitted) and Bills to be paid in the amount of $15,619.82.

Moved to approve increasing the starting salary for Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy, based on previous experience, as presented.   Salary at $2,903.12 Bi Weekly effective December 1, 2019 and approval of Line Item Transfer $21,625.00.

Update: Floor plans have been sent to HDR.

Update:  Light poles are being installed;  cabling is being completed; Smoke Purge testing will be done in several of the units;  Prepunch walk-through in Units A&B. 
C. Goodfellow AFB - DEAAG project

1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted November 27, 2019 at 11:42 a.m.  
2.  County Clerk, Elizabeth McGill, announced that she will be Retiring December 31, 2020, creating a vacancy in 2021.  She is announcing this early in order for her Chief Deputy, Marie Robinson, to run for the remainder of Ms. McGill's unexpired term.
3.  San Angelo Leadership to be held December 12, 2019.
4.  Brian McGuire, gives thanks for the support in the passing of his father. 
5.  Debbie Holland; story in newspaper of honoring the passing of her father.
6.  Open Enrollment to be held December 3, 4 & 5, 2019.
7.  Salary discussion to be held December 17, 2019, at 9:30 a.m.
8.  Extension Office Christmas gathering December 3, 2019, from 10:00 to 1:00

  
 16.  Judge Floyd adjourned the meeting at 8:55 a.m.
