The Commissioners' Court of Tom Green County Texas met in Regular Session, December 11, 2018 in the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building with the following members:

1. County Judge Stephen C. Floyd called the meeting to order and ratified that a Quorum is present at 8:30 am. 

2. The Invocation was given by Commissioner Bill Ford.
Commissioner Ford led in the Pledges to the United States and the State of Texas. 


3. Announcement: Anyone intending to address the Commissioners’ Court shall complete and turn in to the County Judge a Witness Testimony form with the exception of Tom Green County Employees who are providing resource information pursuant to an Agenda item.
             
4. Moved to approve the following items on the CONSENT AGENDA as presented: 

A. Acknowledged the minutes from the last meeting(s) of December 4, 2018. 

B. Consider Treasurer Claims Register and Bills to be Paid Report.

 
Moved to approve the Treasurer's Claim Register, through November 30, 2018  in the amount of $2,614,997.80 and Bills to be paid in the amount of $1,659,118.67.

7. Consider approving the Tom Green County Historical Commission Voting Member Appointments for the 2019-2020 term. (Golda Foster)
Ms. Foster explained to the Court that the State of Texas has awarded the "Distinguished Service Award" to the Tom Green County Historical Commission each year for the past 30 years.  She also added her well wishes to Commissioner Aubrey deCordova on his upcoming retirement and thanked him for serving.

Update:  Received 1.65 inches of rain at the site.  Working on wall joints and decking in various areas. Trip to Alabama for demonstration of various equipment has been scheduled for late January or early February of 2019.

1.  Acknowledge that today's Court Agenda was posted December 7, 2018 at 4:57 PM.
   2.  All County Offices with different holiday hours than the posted County Holidays, needs to send their schedules to the Judge or to IT so they can be posted.
3.  Ms. Hudson announced that to use up the comp time that was built up during the election cycle, the Election Office will be closed starting December 17 and reopen January 2, 2019.

  
 15.  Judge Floyd adjourned the meeting at 9:56 AM.
